We are a 24/7 shelter offering safety, stability, and support for survivors of trauma, including adults, children, and their beloved pets. We're seeking empathetic, reliable Residential Workers to join our dedicated team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those healing from crisis.

Position: Residential Worker
Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time schedule flexibility
Location: Hattiesburg
Compensation: Generous entry-level pay and benefits package

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide a welcoming and safe environment for all clients and their children, and pets
• Assist with client admissions, orientations, and departures
• Support clients with daily living activities and routine needs
• Provide transportation for clients to essential appointments and services
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility
• Respond to client needs with empathy and professionalism
• Document activities and maintain client confidentiality
• Participate in staff trainings and team meetings

Qualifications:
• Compassionate and trauma-informed approach to care
• Ability to work effectively with adults, children, and animals
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Must pass background check and have a valid driver's license with insurance
• Experience in human services or similar setting a plus—but not required
